You want to know exactly how much the plumbing or HVAC job is going to cost. We respect that. That's why Steve’s Plumbing & Heating employs a unique approach to our job pricing. Instead of charging a high hourly rate like many in this industry do, our technicians evaluate the problem during an inspection, determine the best way to repair it, and provide you with a detailed estimate outlining the costs.

To receive this estimate, you will incur a service charge for the inspection. Sorry – we do not provide free estimates, and we don’t give estimates without inspecting your system. Why? Because it is almost impossible to provide an accurate plumbing or HVAC estimate without performing a professional inspection.

You might find other companies offering free estimates, but many times, this doesn’t save you money at the end of the job. Not only might you get an unexpectedly high bill – you’ll likely get what you (didn’t) pay for in the customer service department with your technician. With Steve’s Plumbing & Heating, you get what you pay for: experts in the industry with a five-star reputation of excellence and friendly service!

Our service fee is less than $100. This goes toward our transportation to and from your home, our technicians’ valuable experience, training, and credentials, stocking our Super Truck full of supplies, and the resources to maintain a highly qualified, innovative HVAC and plumbing generational family business. How It Works

Call us or fill out one of our online forms to set up the inspection. A technician will show up on time and assess your plumbing or HVAC system.

From there, we share our findings and present you with an exact and total cost to complete the work, taking care to help you understand what is going to be done. This is our Straightforward Pricing – no “milking the clock.” No unexpected costs. No surprises.

You will know the cost of the job before the technician begins any work, and whether it takes him two hours or six hours, whether we missed something, or if the work does not go as planned, you still pay the Straightforward Price that we gave you before we started the job.

It all boils down to this: The price we quote you before the job starts is the price you pay. Period.
